Our Recreaction Property
I was inspired by Von Helman's thread on his family ranch so I thought I would share our family recreational property.
It is 100 acres and used to be used as a ranch, then a christmas tree farm and now it is our oasis. We have had it for around 6 years now with minimal interference with nature.
The pond is a few acres with crayfish, small mouth bass, perch and creek chub. The land has tons of small animals as well as game.
I don't have a whole lot of pictures and most of it is bush so I'll share what I have. Here are a few pictures with more to come as I take them.

The property is the large rectangle with the pond being the far corner.

Spring this year with the water levels low. Usually the water comes up to the grass.

Feel free to add pictures of other properties or nature. Seems like Von Helman's thread was a super hit amongst nature enthusiasts.

Awesome property! There is no substitute for nice land.

Yes, I agree with Forfend, nice land, open, private and spacious is amazing. A few years ago I was at a friends house who owns around 30 acres of land and its just nice to be able to roam on private land, its gracious and stunning. I hope to one day own land that I can use for enjoyment as is and not have to develop.

Yes. We're trying to buy out our neighbours. We hope to buy plot by plot and be able to create a spacecraft we can go and just have quiet time. The kids love going and running around and housing around. Hopefully we'll be able to buy more before the developments come and snag them. My dream would be 100 acres.
