Black House | FORM / Koichi Kimura Architects
FORM / Koichi Kimura Architects designed this house with a completely black exterior but almost white courtyard.
The interior is also full of contrasts. Some rooms are dark and some are light. Thanks to this contrasts the house looks very modern and interesting.

Most of the cool houses in Japan are tiny and squeezed into tight urban plots in seemingly low rent neighbourhoods. It's just the way it is with the cost of land and the density of the cities.
