    Default Citadel Floating Apartments

Dutch firm Waterstudio has designed the world’s first floating apartment structure in an effort to combat rising water levels. The project is directed by Koen Oithuis. On the whole, The Citadel will house 60 luxury apartments.

Netherlands is the shit for architecture, they're pretty much forced to be innovative and stray away from traditional buildings if they want them to stay put.

That's insanely cool. I like the architecture but not the idea of floating

I like alternative thinking. Just imagine how easy moving is. Just make sure its a coastal town.

Could be a big market in New Orleans. Just leave on your 1 acre and lot and don't sweat when the water comes.

Wouldn't everything in the house fall over and whatnot if it got the least bit choppy?

It's neat but I wouldn't live in one. I wonder how it would handle in a hurricane?
    I design things and stuff...

Combat rising water levels? Sales tactic is fear.

    Nice design though.
