Is anyone here familiar with the Orlando real estate market?
I am thinking it might be a good time to buy a condo/town home there.

Can anyone refer me to a Realtor there?

exacly my point and the reason I asked Why orlando

UCF is crap and there are ZERO hot girls there as the hotties are at FSU and the Smart Hotties are ar UF

The theme parks get old after about a month

The "downtown" is terrible

There are 10000 more things but those are bullet points

we got hotties... but its just crap town and central location means no cooling effect from water like elsewhere... meaning its hot and rains too often.. go near the coast and you'll have less rain and cooler days as the water helps cool the air.

I was thinking Orlando or Tampa. I will have some family in Tampa.
How is Tampa? I was wanting to buy investment property in Orlando.
What is a nice city to live in Florida that is great for families?

Tampa is nice depending where you live. I had a girlfriend that lived there and I was there once a month. FAR better then orlando.

That being said I would never live that far north in terms of Florida. If you want an amazing place to raise a family in a very well off town but middle class home price try parkland florida. Its about 15min from boca raton 20 min from lauderdale and 40 min from miami. You can get a home in the parkland country club that was once 1.6 million for about 750K The forclosure rate is HUGE in parkland.
