I'd watch out for prices... I know people that bought pre-construction on the mandarin residences have already lost money on them... the other full service lux residences that are just being finished up on the harbor are having a hard time selling from what I've heard.... this will be the third high end/full service offering in 2 years in Boston and some people think its a bit too much...

I moved out of Boston 6 months ago so I'm a bit behind but just know that you may have more negotiating room than you think... also check out the mandarin (highest quality all finishes french imported) and whatever the one is they just did on the harbor that is comparably nice for price comparos

One thing to watch out for with hotel/residences is the monthly home owners fees. I looked into some places and the home owners alone was nearly $2k/month, when the condo was only like $700k or so.

SHould be a solid investment. The W here in Dallas sold pretty quick and has gone up in value quite a bit. If I was single, I would be living there for sure. Private elevator to the Ghost Bar 4TW!
