When I see the interior of a new 991 my first thought is wow.... Such an interior is sure to keep me warm and cozy on a long trip, no need to book a hotel sleeping in my car is now officially an option... that nice, agreed....My wife will easily fall asleep along side during our 2hr ride to visit the in-laws.....lots of buttons, beauty in a luxury way.... what seems to be amazing attention to detail and one of class/elegance/technology. Not a bad feeling.....but not the emotion I am looking to stir up when I get into what I have been drawn to in a 911 over the years and since a kid....

By no means against technology.... in fact the opposite is true. Just saying that if one of my cars is to be a sports car (in my mind of what a sports car looks like in and out) I cant see the new styling of the 991 being the one. (yet I still think the car is amazing just again not for me...) Exterior wise that could change quickly once release of the Turbo and GT cars get released but won't change my first impressions of the interior. Which again are great, kudos, but leave it in the Panamara, the Cayenne or other ....just for me not feeling it for the newest 911 variant... same holds true for the exterior; Nice of course, just not what I was hoping for...

and yes I think I would take a clean 993TT over a 997TT for the long term.... knowing full well the 997TT would cream the 993TT on performance etc..technology and other... but at the end of the day when that garage bay opened and I was to take out that 993TT for a ride the smell of oil, the rougher ride, lesser of gadgets, etc... all the negatives in comparison would some how and some way strangely become all positive... Hard to explain....
