Porsche released info on the 918: 4600cc and 550 bhp!
Porsche HQ unveiled some new spec's on the upcoming 918. It will have a 4.6 liter V8 (3.4 liter before)
It will also have more power, 550bhp instead of 500 coming from the petrol engine.
As it is a hybrid, it will be backed up by 2 instead of 3 electromotors, good for 230 bhp.
The car 'll be released on the IAA '13 and is already sold out.

Interesting thing about 4 months ago as I was purchasing my 911 Carrera GTS at Circle Porsche in Long Beach, CA, a guy walked into the dealership to finalized paperwork for wiring, well it ended up to be a wire for this bad boy 918. That allowed him to purchased another car only if you had or is an owner of the 918.
