Anyone with modded VTG turbos and I/C on a Tip 997?
Is there a big difference from a Exhaust/cat bypass race Ecu tip on 100 when you are on pump gas or do they run about the same? Does anyone know? Was thinking about doing the upgrade...

Im trying to figure out how much power you can run without having to build the Tip, and how much of a power gain you see from upgrading the turbos and I.C. . See if the return on dollars spent is worthwhile.

i had a 997 tip with awe 750 kit back in the day with a stock tip tranny. i think u can run around 800 hp on these trannys.. the tranny is a merc one and is very common. id check with bbi autosport or BC since he had a upgraded tip on his tt . cheers

i would say around 700 crank then tranny starts to slip...the good thing with champions build is they also tun the tcu...u will get rev matching down shifts which sound great and doesn't beat up motor at track and much fast shifts not pdk fast but close...renntec in miami does the tranny build its about 5k

I had the TCU upgrade done on mine by Evoms and it works very well.
