Default Permission from RWB to run RAUH-WELT on my 997 GT3

Permission granted from Nakai and Toshi to be part of Rauh-Welt and to run the banner

During the RWB USA grand opening @ the FATLACE paddock

that's cool you had a chance to meet him and thx for sharing, but i'm sure others are thinking the same thing... how is your ride an RWB? it's stock body unless you're planning on flaring it out and having N-san actually do work?

    smh

^^He is. He's first in line in the US to have him work on a 997.

He never said it was, he just said he was given permission to rock the banner. Looks like they know each other personally.

On a different note, his hands are dirty as hell. You know your a hard worker when your working on cars during your own grand opening. Looks like he's been up for days too. Congrads, the banner looks perfect on your car. Love the gas station pics too!

if the op is having n-san rip up his 997gt3, then awesome. i can't wait to see the build. i hope he'd choose to indulge us with many pics.

if the op is just rockin the stickers, then it's no diff than those S500s i see rolling around with AMG badging on them. (smh)

Thanks for the praises, support, and positive/negative criticism.

I would like to first add that I did contemplate on putting the RAUH-WELT banner on my GT3 since I hated people that rocked M badges on non M cars, AMG badges on non AMG Mercs, Type R and DOHC on Hondas that weren't so, etc.

But Rauh-Welt is more than just a builder, it's a group of enthusiast that love their cars, modify them, and drive the heck out of them and not stored as garage queens.

    @Temple: Yes its my dd

@Rok: Do you know how Rauh-Welt started? Please enlighten me if ya do.

Rauh-Welt blew up recently and are known for their vintage 911 Porsches, but it is a group of enthusiasts that love to drive also.

Rauh-Welt/RWB banner is seen on many other vehicles such as Corolla AE86s, Nissan Sylvia's, etc.

Here is a pic of my Rauh-Welt family friend Yoko from Japan with her RWB bannered 996 GT3:

I think it looks great and would be awesome to see Nakai-San work his magic on your Porsche

the best analogy i can come up with is... it's like looking forward to the victoria secret annual tv event but come showtime, they're all outfitted in snuggies.

I love RWB work. I don't love their stickers. It's their unique look that makes them who they are as marketed stateside. The fact that n-san himself works on these cars still is awesome, though if he's to grow his business, he's going to have to scale and outsource like Techart, like Hamann etc.

So whether I know about how the dude got started has little to no bearing in regard to how myself and others may feel about your choice to stickerize your stock body 911.

In a way, I really want someone with a pricey GT3 to radically give us that RWB look v. pu$$y-footing around with vinyl. you obviously have a penchant for modifying so I guess it's more out of disappointment that we're not seeing more.

Now if it's true that you're going to go under the knife, then by all means I'm a cheerleader on the sidelines along with many others here. I love tastefully modified cars with top class parts.

The only other RWB worthy GT3 I've seen is a gray one. That one looks absolutely insane in the best way possible. But it's not RWB work.

    LOVE
