Default Singer Vehicle Design - Porsche

Los Angeles based Singer Vehicle Design, which restores and remakes classic Porsche models on order, has taken one of its creations to the public.

This 'Reimagined by Singer' Porsche is based on the 964 Porsche 911 (1990-1994) but features new technologies. Singer creates unique cars that are part restoration and part recreation. The car seen here is painted in Singer Racing Silver and comes with a Ruby Red interior. It is the fourth model made for order by Singer.

The car was debuted at The Notion Studio in downtown Los Angeles on November 16.

Singer Vehicle Design offers new engines with each model, with a choice of three variants. Those are the 3.6 liter Touring producing 300 hp (224 kW / 304 PS), a 3.9 liter Sport with 360 hp (268 kW / 265 PS) and a 3.9 to 4.0 liter Cup unit with an output of more than 400 hp (298 kW / 406 PS).

Prices for a Singer Porsche can range between $190,000 to over $300,000.

I just spent an hour on their website. Its amazing to see the list of what the car under goes. Once you see that then the price makes sense.

There's a company over here, PS AutoArt, who have been doing a similar thing for a while.

True works of art from both companies.

/\/\ when you understand the work and innovation with what Singer does, you won't think that way. There's no justification in their price.
It's a 964 with 996 underpinnings and an updated engine along the other work that makes it special.

It would be lovely if they built it off of 993. But then, it won't be air cooled.
