Default New 2011 Panamera V6 owner from Indonesia

    Hi guys,

This is my first Porsche. I got a brand new 2011 Panamera S 3.6L V6 off the dealer lot complete with the Sport Plus package, PDK, brushed aluminium interior and air suspension, as well as a set of the upgraded 19" Porsche turbo wheels. Taxes is a b1tch in my country and this lowly V6 costs me $250,000 out the door....

Car is still at the dealer right now being cleaned up but it should be delivered to my house today. I came from a long line of sport cars and my last car was a Maserati Quattroporte which was a huge blast to own and drive!

Here are some pics from the dealership when I placed the order.

Looking forward to sharing and getting more info from you guys!

Here are 2 more pictures from the car arriving at my house. Photos taken in my basement. My brother's son apparently gave his thumbs-up of approval. Air suspension setting at its lowest (Sport+). Looks nice with the 19s!

First day install is: 3M 20% tint on front window and 60% all around.

Agreed on that one, needs more diameter in the wheel department!

LOL, it's only been a day in my garage, guys. And it's the family car, so I doubt I will be touching it much, especially in any way that will make it hard to drive for the other members of the family.

On a side note, I drove around a bit today on temp plates (so can't go too far, cops, eek) and went to the beach just to see how the car handles and behaves around city streets, and I was most happy. It does have big hips and the view out of the rear mirrors are pretty useless, but I think I will get the hang of it quickly. The 3.6L V6 is pleeeeeenty for driving around town, especially in crazy traffic like what we have here in Jakarta. It's perky, nimble and eager, which is what we need for our road conditions. Car feels much smaller than it really is, and definitely the Porsche DNA is very well felt. My sig. other says it best, this car feels sportier than my S-class, but more elegant and well built than my Quattroporte.

And since we are such pic whores....

The panny is meant to be driven where else ur S klas is driven by your driver.....". Big difference there.....but i tell u, i drove my panny only on the weekends and it has already 8000km since march this year. Cant drive enough of this car. Simply so much fun to drive. Enjoy it bro

Same like my Quattroporte. I had it a total of 6-7 months and put in over 5000km on it. Great car! Hope to have the same experience with this Porsche.

Well each day spent without some mods is a day too much! Just kidding! But the Panamera really looks stunning with anything over 20" in size!
