my family and i own several oldtimer - let alone be a real right mirrow for our 65' 230 sl - cost about 300 usd... the whole 356 fake cost about 10k usd... so where's the relationship for a real colector?

the article clearly states it's a replica. it's all about priorities, some may value the number on the chassis and some may value the drive. who is to say the guy in the 10k rep is enjoying his car less than you in your "300k" merc? more importantly, who cares. get over it.
