The kit built on a boxster s frame with the carrera 4s suprcharged
engine. I asked him for a ride and to my surprise the car was
amazingly fast. The interior is very simple and I suggested Adding
few after market gauges. What a ride, a bit sharper than my m5.

Trying to make your boxter looking like a Gemballa Mirage, is like putting a disguise on someone ugly and trying to look nicer. Like this ->

I think you guys are making some unfair comparisons.

Sure the car is trying to pass as a Gemballa CGT by the looks of it, and actually seeing the pro pictures make it look really good, but unlike a lot of "fakes" at the very least this car can pull. Comparing it to a Fiero with Lambo kit is unfair, just like comparing it to a Honda with "lambo" doors is a bit unfair.

I agree, it shouldn't try to pass as a car it isn't, but the car looks good and it obviously performs well too with the swap. He should just debadge it, would make it acceptable I guess, since then it wouldn't be trying to pass as a different car.
"We were never satisfied being status quo. We were never OK just getting by. We pushed and drove at everything we have done in our lives to succeed in spite of those around us that would hold us back and naysay us. We finally realized that we needed to make our own rules to do things better. 99% of the people in this world do not understand us and what drives us.

    Default M5

Good point by the previous member, this is not a car that you should compare with Fiero or etc... Only its full carbon fiber race car seats cost around 10K, not considering the real CGT tail light, Supercharger and so many other parts which will be too long to itemized. As a matter of fact the Gemballa steering wheel is around 3k (my friend got it last year). I am in car business and surely based on what I have seen he spent well over 120k on this car. I wish he decide to remove the Gemballa decals and make it a phenomenon car. By the way the guy is a Emergency medicine doctor and has a nice Audi s4 (not a replica) and beautiful 1998 M3.

    Good Luck

Wow, you sure know a lot about this car. Gut tells me that you share the same IP as the owner of this vehicle. Just a guess.

Guys, let's be a bit mature and not judgemental. I have mentioned that I met him in Burlingame and saw the car from the closeup and ended up with a deep conversation. I also criticized a few things about the car and agreed that The decals need to be removed from the car as this is not a real GT. Now completely up to you what you think, just felt responsible to drop a quick line for clarification. If you read a comment from Marvelous, he also trying to be fair or you think he might be the owner of the kit with a different IP address again! Please be respectful to one another.
