I agree wholeheartedly. If it's the same one I saw, it really was poorly done.

Dude thats hella sick! I got a 1989 Geo Metro I tricked out with this sick ass lambo body kit, doors and everything. I painted my exhaust tips too to match the car. I'll get pics up as soon as I can, stoked about all the great responses.

The only Gemballa Mirage GT that was in the USA was Markus von Anhalt's and his was originally a techart then he converted it. He wrecked it on a track in Germany and had it rebuilt and painted black and it stays overseas. It's on his site so this isn't the one people saw with the Euro tag on it throughout 2007 and 2008. This one was sold I believe because I saw her being driven around town last visit to cali. It had the newport tag on it though.

I am a new member just moved to Northen CA. I actually saw the car from the close up in Burlingame and it did not look very bad, It looked a bit shorter than an actual CGT and this is because the Boxster got a larger cabin than CGT but overall length was even a few inched longer. Full interior Carbon fiber and suprisingly so much Porsche CGT and Gemballa parts used on the kit. I had a chance to speak to the owner and from the beginning he was honest about the car and acknowleged the fact that this is not a real Gemballa. It definetly worth to see the car from the close up because the pics do not do the real justice. I own a 2007 M5 and would like to join the team in SR. When you guys get to gether?
