IMO, any stock car can last that long or longer if it is from a quality manufacturer AND every single ounce of maintenance is performed exactly when needed (or before its needed).
many people just don't do maintenance above and beyond what is required, and likewise dont see this many miles. others just get tired of their car after a couple years and dont see the point in paying substantial amounts in maintenance year after year...but thats what it takes.

i'm not so sure that applies for such high performance cars, and especially for turbocharged ones. a honda or mercedes will last forever. i don't think many borderline supercars in the range of the turbo, with the high rpms and hard driving that they are usually subjected to, will stay running smoothly for that many miles

Wow. Congrats to him. Interested to know how the compression is holding up.
It is vital that we work to a few golden rules. Always work in a small team. Keep a very low profile. Only deal with people who come recommended. And it's like selling anything else: washing machines, hand made shoes, blowjobs. As long as you don't take the piss people will always come back for more. And that is not to say we don't have that special kind of magic that makes two kilos into three. But never be too greedy.
