last night i was driving home, punched it on the last block, had to stop at a light... went to take off and nothing...
i had to press the gas pedal half-way down before anything would happen.
prognosis is broken electronic throttle pedal...
i will not say what i want to say - except that if you think you can buy a 996tt for $40k - i hope you have some money saved up.

Sorry to hear that, but I have to say with all of the years under my belt with Porsche's I have never heard of that happening. Along the lines with any used car I guess you have to expect anything to happen..

i have no complaints about the Evo/Sharkwerks stuff  it's just everything else - well, this time it ran for about 1000 miles before it broke down.

My point wasn't the miles Alex, it's the fact that it's been a lemon with issues since day 1 of his ownership  I have never ever had issues like that with my car's, my M3 yes, but because other reasons mainly install error as well as a brand new supercharger kit to the market.. But my 996's nope :/
