    Default Any early 911 owners?

I am picking up a 76 911s Targa in a few weeks. It belonged to my GF's grandfather who just passed. Nobody in the family wanted it so I agreed to buy it and got a smoking deal.
It was being driven until about six months ago when it developed some type of fuel leak from what I'm told. I'm a auto technician so I can't wait to get my hands on this car. Anybody have any experience with these cars and can highlight areas to look at once I get it to my garage?

I'll post pics once I get the car here in a few weeks.

You should get some great responses here but check rennlist.com it is a Porsche only website. I believe they have an entire section dedicated to early 911 owners.

Keeping the oil temps in check is the key to longevity.
