Yes, they are awesome. I bought one of the launch cars and they are fantastic. Porsche has knocked this one out of the ball park.
The structural rigidity has been increased by 40% and you do not get any noticeable body shimmy that is easily noticeable on the 911 cab. With the increased sound insulation it's as quiet as a hard top when the top is up. It's truly the best of both worlds and i've generally not been a convertible guy.
The PDK gear box is excellent.
If you drive one, make sure you have your check book handy because you'll want it.

Test drove one, and they have refined it very well. Major improvement over my 986.

Just bought one (2013 Boxster S) for my wife.
Blue with black wheels she loves it. I think Porsche finally got the Boxster right.TDF 458

Anytime I build one online (a man can dream, plus with the options I want I usually end up looking at close to 20k over budget) it always end up being that exterior color. Great choice, congrats.

I'm liking the looks of the 2013 far better than previous years, makes me like the Boxster over the Cayman. . .
