UPDATE: Had a meeting with Chris and Andrew @ C2Design about the game plan on the Simba Project. The background you can see the 993tt being worked on...turbos getting added and new exhaust tips on that right now.

Here is the color/finish strategy...carbon fiber and gloss carbon gray paint (SEE the 3rd pic with the two pieces painted next to the shifter console...those are pieces on another project) on the backdrop of the red leather. The carbon gray will also be used for the wheel inserts and barrel (face is brushed aluminum)...you should see it in person...this color in gloss and in contrast to the CF is money.

Doors: The leather is so choice on this car that we don't really want to mess with it much at all. So ONLY the silver door pulls will be replaced with CF versions.
Seat: GT-2 cloth seats...recovered in color match OE leather. The backs are already CF...but diagonal to match the exterior CF...
Center armrest: Nothing, except get the handbrake front portion in CF and the bottom trim of the hand brake in carbon gray...
Center shifter area: The bottom horseshoe trim will be carbon gray...center shifter plate in CF...shifter knob in carbon gray...
Center console: The stereo is chucked and a double din Kenwood Excelon will reside there in a carbon gray painted bezel (from Porsche)...the AC controller panel and the panel housing shock/sport/rear wing over-ride will be in carbon gray paint.
    Center air vents: CF
Center Chrono: Chrono bezel in CF with top trim ring in carbon grey...
Right Side - Drink cover trim strip in CF...glove compartment pull in CF...side vents in CF...end piece that is red plastic will be in CF
Left Side - Gauge cluster bezel in CF...ignition/light switch bezel in CF...side vents in CF...end piece that is red plastic will be in CF
Steering wheel - central faceplate in CF to include the multi-function buttons...
Door sills - in CF and illuminated (they are already illuminated but are in brushed aluminum look)

    Stereo:

    Head-unit - Kenwood Excelon DNX9990hd
Door speakers - 3 way separates
Center sub - reconfigured to fit an 8"
Rear speakers - trying to fit 8" drivers in stock locations
Amp(s) - JL900-5 (front speakers and front sub) and probably JL500-1(rear subs)

    Exterior:

Werks CF Rear Wing - with end plates painted in body color
Rear GT2RS bumper with CF inserts (bumperettes OFF!!!)
    GT2 side skirts
    Werks Front CF Spoiler
    GT2 front vent in CF
    Side mirror lowers in CF
    Bilstein PSS PASM compatible system
Rennen M9 - brushed face with carbon gray inserts and barrels
Xpel Ultimate - as much as the car can take...

    Performance:

    Switzer R911 with tip/clutch upgrade...

Stay away from those Rennen's. Have never seen a worse built wheel then those. I know of at least 4 people who just have paper weights now due to the crappy quality of them. Take it for what it's worth.

Thanks...let me do some searches and talk to my wheel guy and get his opinion on any issues I find on the web.

Simba had Xpel Ultimate done...whole front, doors, A pillars, side mirrors, and rear quarter area where stock stone guards were...

Went by C2Design to go over the parts list...everything is pretty much ordered for the exterior and all the interior trim will converted to CF (gloss to match the GT2 seat backs) by a local guy. I've seen his work and have some in the SL65...quality stuff.

The exterior trim will be satin CF...here are pics of a CLK63 BS they are working on with CF they converted from gloss to satin...very nice contrast.

AFTER all this aesthetic and audio/video upgrades are done...THEN here we come SWITZER!!!! It'll be EPIC! Just saying...
