H&R springs!
I just installed a set of H&R sport springs. I think it's the best mod for the money. I wish i did this with my M3///.

Yes & no the springs are better quality for sure. You will experience a more bouncer feel, but I wouldn't say harsher. It sounds to me like your very SKEPTICAL so If I were you try to find someone with springs this will help your decision.
