Ok, how about in the front of a 924, 944 or 928?

    this
A successful man is someone who wakes up in the morning, goes to sleep at night, and does whatever makes him happy in between.

Happiness is the only thing worth pursuing.

Yeah, i had a 944 come through the shop with an Ls1, did seem like as odd of a match. From what i heard even after the swap the balance is still a perfect 50/50

Personally if i were to drop an LSx motor into anything it would be a:
    Miata
    S2000
    Regular Cab Siverado
    Steven Aquino
West Virginia University- Class of 2014
2003 Chevy Tahoe- far from stock
    1997 Scarab 22'- BBC
    Lum-tec V6
    Seiko Titanium

Simply put, a Porsche 911 is not a Porsche 911 without a flat-six in the rear.

Pretty badass, think that guy cares about 50/50 weight ratio? He's too busy out putting a beating on the locals.

A guy here in Vegas that does these conversions told me the aluminum block V8s don't weigh much more than the old 6. I didn't ask him for specifics since we were not talking about a specific car...now I wonder what the actual weight difference is. I will Google it when I get the chance.

Now that you mention it, I kind of remember reading something along those lines.
