Setting up product review "setup"
Hey -
I am an ameturer photographer who just started really shooting last year. I bought a D3100 (from the great help of you guys, thanks again Tommy (L4MBORGH1NI)) and am getting a little more comfortable with it each day. I am working on a review site for technology gadgets and with it being most photo driven I am trying to build an inexpensive "setup" where I can take the photos. Here is a few things:
- I would like to try and take the pictures of the products in a more natural light however that really isn't possible for me (in my apt I don't get very good lighting)
- With the natural lightening, I usually take picture of the products in different places (on the counter, desk, bed, couch, etc) so I would like to keep it mobile if anything.
I was reading an early post about speed lights and strobes. Would something like this apply?
Thanks for the helpCause in the end you can't take anything with you. The only thing you can do is leave a story.

Yea, I would just get a lightbox and a couple inexpensive studio strobes or speedlights. If you ever think you'll start doing video reviews than you may want to invest in some continuous lights.
