    Default My year in review

So I really liked the idea of Jeremy's thread with a pic from each of his shoots this year. I decided to add a contribution of my own. I can't post a pic from every shoot because I shot way too much this year, so I've narrowed it down to my favorite stuff. Hope you all enjoy and I wish us all a great 2012

Right after new years, it was time to go back on the road again. This first trip of the year was 12 days long and involved us shooting an entire magazine (DONK Girls) as well as the cover and a few of the features for the first RIDES issue of the year.

This became the RIDES cover, which was shot in Waycross, GA

immediately after this shoot we hit the road again and shot straight through Florida to shoot DONK Girls in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and the surrounding area.

We met a ton of awesome people on that trip and had an absolute blast.

After a short stay back home it was again time to head out. This time it was to LA to meet up with Aimee herself to grab the photos of BC's cars and the Bentley from Platinum Motorsport we used on the RIDES cover. This was another awesome trip putting faces to names.

Next up was Texas, where we spent a week bouncing between Houston and Dallas

I got to photograph Brandon Jacobs for our 50th Anniversary Issue over the summer:

Also for the 50th issue we went back out to LA to shoot the cover which was a heavily modified Tahoe and 300c. We found an oil refinery that had an abandoned oil rig on their back lot and somehow managed to talk our way into getting a few hours back there. After shooting the Tahoe next to it, we got a little ballsy and cleared a path to take the 300c inside it:

Took home a Bentley Mulsanne for 4 days to review it.... this was a GOOOD weekend

Shot my Ad Directors car for our 50th anniversary issue

    Battled Hurricane Irene:

Went to Chicago for another cover featuring this Chevelle

Finished the trunk of my Supercharged Jeep for the 2nd time:

Shot Slash from Guns n Roses who has been my hero since I picked up a guitar 15 years ago:

Finally got to shoot my good friends from Liberty VIP car club who have deserved a feature for a long time now:

Shot the Fiat 500 for ANTENNA Magazine:

and the last thing I'll probably shoot this year, I took this Evoque home for a few days, shot this with the light from my iPhone after my LED torch shit the bed

    Covers from this year:

Theres tons more I haven't covered, this just scratches the surface.... but it was a hell of a year.

Awesome post Andrew! I've always loved looking at your shoots. If you're ever in Chicago and need a hand, let me know. I may actually have a possible feature for RIDES, I'd love to shoot it if possible, either way I'll shoot you the details and see what you think.
