Dear Automotive Photographers... GET $$$
I am currently looking for a few people that have or will be attending some popular car events. Either big car shows, races, moto GP, offroad, whatever.
We need new content, so I will pay you $25.00 per article. I have been invited to sort of create and redesign a site, so I am reaching out to photographers to help us boost our traffic/content.
I am not going to really go into anymore detail because I am not a sponsor. BUT, PM me if interested!

Not trying to be an ass, as there are probably plenty of rookie photographers willing to do this for experience, but it disappoints me that a photographer's coverage of an entire event is now only valued at $25. That's like $3.12/hr. That won't even cover their gas to get there.

Sorry to be harsh, but with $25 per coverage you're better off with a bum and a fake camera.
Sucks how much people don't realize how much time, effort, and money it takes to get good QUALITY photos. Whatever.

25$, it costs more to get into most events lol

rethinking my post; i think it would of been less insulting to just ask people to contribute free content - then offering $25; at least you could of went with the whole "well it'll help you get media passes & exposure for your work" approach - then the - i'm offering 3/hr lolLast edited by v2lab; 12-21-2011 at 07:17 PM.
