Thread: YouTube Question

I thought some of the YouTube pros on here might be able to answer this question. My second most popular video contains some music picked up from the outdoor mall's speakers. I created this video before I knew much about YouTube advertising. I would like to add ads, but I'm afraid it may be taken down. What do you think, is there enough music to cause an issue?



I have no idea why this video is so popular, great car, but it's just sitting there... not that I'm complaining.

I doub't they'd remove it

if the music is in the background and was not added by you, they will not remove it. This is one of my vids and you can clearly hear multiple songs in the back from the dj booth and they are fine with it.

i used kid cudi in a video a long time ago and they just said that it was under copyright issues, but it was still up. I never have problems when the song is playing during the video, ex. (car speakers, "mall speakers") i think you will be good.

I have some like that but are not opted for revenue which was his question. Your kid cudi vid probably does not have rights to collect
