    Default Interir shots, best lens?

Trying to find a nice lens for interiors on cars, looking at the 14-24 Nikkor. Can someone please post a few photos of the best interior shots?

    Much appreciated.

It all depends on the car and how big the doors are. Sometimes I use my Tokina 12-24mm. Other times, my Tamron 24-75mm suffices. And then for details, I find my 100mm macro works best. I don't think there is one best answer for this.

In an ideal world, we would all have the option of cutting the car into pieces like they do on the big commercial shoots, so that we could use a long lens to photograph it. But since it isn't, you just got to make due with whatever the car gives ya.

I didn't mean cutting the photo into pieces. I meant actually cutting the physical car into pieces. If you have ever seen a big commercial shoot for car interiors, they use what they call cut-aways, which are essentially cars with the B/C pillars, doors, and sometimes the entire roof removed.

If you're shooting with an FX camera and have the money for the 14-24, just do it. You can't find anything as wide and as good. If you're using a DX camera, take a look at the sigma 8-16mm instead. 14mm on a DX camera isn't super-duper wide.

    Oh, wow!

Another thing you can do is composites, this way you take shots of everything and then arrange them in Photoshop. Great for big detail prints like billboards if your on a relative budget!
