    The 70-300 is rubbish. Though i do have the non VR version.

    If you have some money i would go for the SIGMA 120-300mm OS thats due out in about a months time. F2.8 and sharper than its 300mm prime!

    I didn't know there was a new Sigma coming out! Thanks for the info. That's exactly the range I'm looking for.

    Yup, its basically the same as the old one but with OS, which is image stability (3-4 extra stops) and special HOYA co-developed glass.

    This is the old one, with a 1.4x teleconvertor too, amazing quality!


    Remember on the D7000, 120mm-300mm becomes 180mm-450mm due to the 1.5x crop
