actually, when i was looking at them.. a couple months ago they were that price without the zoom lens. but i decided to buy used and got a kick ass Nikon D60!!! for 400$

The telephoto lens doesn't have image stabilization so be sure to use a tripod or flat surface when taking low shutter speed pics with the 75-300mm! But it is a fair deal, saving about $70-80.
