Default Best walk around lens for a 5DmkII

    I have the Nifty 50
    and the 17-40L F4

What else should I get? I usually use the wide as a walk around but it is a bit slow.

    Suggestions?
    Storm Trooper'd -Mercedes ML63 AMG
    Darth Vader'd AUDI R8
    Jake Ryan'd Porsche 968
    Chun Li'd Ducati Streetfighter 848

Either of these. Really the 24-105 is ideal, but is limited by being f4 in my opinion. Although with the high ISO capabilities of the mkii it shouldn't be a real issue.

I walk around with a 50mm. 70-200 is awesome to have as well.

I'd go with 24-105. It's light and has IS.
Yes, 24-70 is an amazing lens but it's much heavier. Unless you really-really need 2.8, 24-105 is the way to go.
