Racelap Photography
Hi... I used to be a very active photographer (hence the username) until around 4 years ago. I "retired" from actively shooting because I felt like I hit a wall. I went back out today for the first time since around September 2006 to take action shots. New camera (5D2), new lens (135 F2L), and pretty rusty technique. I've followed the photo threads on L4P, particularly Kirby's, and thought I should start one of my own. If you follow this progression of pics you can tell the first ones are kind of rusty, but by the end I was starting to get comfortable. Unfortunately that's also when the sun went down.

It's a spot on Mulholland that's pretty well known, the guys from Rock Store Photos are frequently there. They're good dudes. Rock Store Photos
