Hey all, it's been a while! I've been busy.
..graduated from college, flew around the country shooting video/apprenticing with a luxury wedding photographer from Minneapolis, subsequently rekindling my photography business back here in Michigan, aaand driving some really cool cars in exchange for making videos for Winding Road. Chris Amos Photography has almost become Chris Amos Videography. And I'm not mad about it!
If it's cool, I'd like to share a few of the videos I shot this summer & fall at my new part-time gig with WR.
2012 Jaguar XKR-S
2012 Porsche 911 GTS
All the video was shot with a Nikon D7000, some of the GT350 was done with a Glidecam HD2000, and all the tracking "slider" shots were accomplished with a modified Spee-D drain from Lowes.
Feel free to hit me with any questions/comments/critiques if you feel so inclined.
Cheers,
Chris

Yeah it was!! It was probably my favorite of these three to drive. I wish the Cayman R we got was a manual, not PDK, if it was that would have been my pick. I only got an hour in the GT-R, in the rain, and it was fantastic. It's really hard to compare to the other two cars because the new GT-R is just in a class of its own and does different things for the driver. But after spending a few days driving the 1M and Cayman, I'd have to go with the 1M!

Beautiful VW Beetle Turbo Video
Earlier this week I shot and edited a video of the new VW Beetle Turbo for Winding Road Magazine. I'm really proud of the cinematography on this one, check it out! Found a cool song on ccmixer.org for it too...

Earlier this month we spent a few days driving Audi A8L and BMW 750Li. I preferred the Audi, by a long shot!
Check out the photos and article here.

I went out the other day in the GTI to scout locations, and decided to take some photos before I put the summer wheels on.
