    Default Tidal wave

Well, I think most of you all have seen that I, along with Verone and Kirb have been doing some photography for Steve and Sonbol. Earlier today I dug my aquarium out of storage and spent the majority of the afternoon photographing my own Sonbol watch underwater. After getting the shots I needed, I ate some dinner, watched some tv, and then returned to the garage to get a drink out of the fridge. When I opened up the door, this is what I saw. I was honestly surprised, but I should have expected it. This has been an awfullllll week for me.

I didn't take a picture of the setup, but I had the aquarium sitting on the table and had the table propped up on some folgers coffee cans (which were actually full of various paints we used in our house). The weight of the water in the aquarium forced one of the table legs through the coffee can lid, which led to the aquarium falling over, sending a gigantic tidal wave toward all my gear.

Luckily, most of my stuff was off the ground, but one of my alienbees wasn't and it appears to have shorted it out. I think this is going to be a very expensive mistake. More pics of the damage.

There is some good news though. I actually debated placing my watch on the table. I decided against that and instead left it hanging from the fishing line inside the aquarium. So while the aquarium fell to the ground, the watch remained suspended in air, completely unscathed.

Yep. I thought maybe once it dried that it would work again, so I turned on the modeling light to help it dry faster. 5 Minutes later, the whole light went up in a cloud of smoke. I think the capacitor blew.

Wow that sucks. I guess you'll learn from your mistake on this one. Lets see the photos you got prior to the destruction! Hopefully it resulted in a few good ones at least.
