    Your focus looks good. Suggestions, Slow down your shutter speed to show motion on the track shots and watch your backgrounds. Try moving around more to see if you can get clean backgrounds or you can try to open it up a bit to blur the background out a bit more.

    Overall good shots and good job for your first time shooting races.

    thanks for the c&c. i will def step down my SS next time, i agree about the blur. but as far as getting a better background, no luck at the LBGP! i was lucky to get the shots i got cuz' it's so hard to get a decent shot without having to shot through a fence. next yr, i want to get a press pass. any ideas?

    ok, mr. thawley has the proper press pass to get in the right areas! shots are amazing. thanks for sharing, i will learn a lot from these.
