how do i restore (wipe clean) a PC?

gchat? i don't have a mac at work....use gmail chat usually at work

I try and stay away from gchat simply because my entire inbox likes to IM me at the same time...

Is the machine you need to wipe at work? or can we do this when u get home?

You can always download a boot disk and wipe your computer using Fdisk. But you'd need an OS cd to get back up and running.

Booting off a linux live CD and using fdisk is the easiest and fastest way.

leon, i can't bring it home...the monitor is broken (in office i have hooked up to a plasma in conf room)

User "Eraser" to make a boot disk, then wipe the drive (Can do DOD, takes over night) then reinstall fresh from install disks, your best bet.
