Default Still need a good Automotive Photog in DFW

I posted up a while ago for an automotive Photog in DFW. I got one referral but the guy has flaked out on responding to early emails and follow up emails so I'm asking again for any referrals. It's got to be someone good- I like giving my clients a layout when we return their cars after major rework and this one has potential for some magazine coverage.

I may know of someone in Houston. Let me get in contact with him and see if he is interested.

Jeff- I got the email from your guy in Houston- Thanks I'm checking out his pics. I just went through the thread with your work- It's awsome!

Kirb- If flying people out was in the budget you'd be on the short list. I've loved your work since Knick emailed me the pics you did of his E.

If I can find someone with half the talent of either of you guys I'd be in great shape. I got burned last time I tried to set up a photog out here. The guy flaked on me last minute and I ended up having to setup a photog out where I was delivering the car- and of course that turned into a huge disaster.

I did photography in high school so I have a decent eye and know the basics of lighting. Even though he was a "professional" I think I knew more than this guy and of course the pictures came out horrible. I had no choice but to pay them- I was out of time and needed the pics for my client and for the DuPont registry ad turned in that week.

And these have be photoshopped to make better...

Thanks man. As far as James is concerned, I can vouch for him. He does great work. I wouldn't have recommended anyone unless I thought they were capable of exceeding your expectations at whatever it is you throw at him.

Man, I would have had a photography field day with that car.

What a shame, wish I lived closer.
    I take photos. Check it!

Glad I could help. i knew James would come through in the clutch. If for whatever reason you need car shots in the Midwest though, I'm your guy.
