Thread: Coconut Photography - Australian Auto Photog

Hi everyone!

My name's Josh Stowers an automotive photographer based in Perth, Western Australia. I'm 17 years old and I own and run Coconut Photography.

I'm new to L4P and so i thought I'd introduce myself to everybody here because it seems like an awesome place!!

I've always loved cars for as long as I can remember and I was always into taking pictures. One day as I saw a F430 speed through the city, I thought to myself "WOW I want that" with a huge grin on my face. That moment got me thinking about how I could always feel that way when that F430 hit those glorious straight pipes and how I could turn into a job/career. So I decided to mix my love of cars and my passion for pictures together and here I am today...

I started my own company in June 2008 and have been having the best time of my life ever since!! I work at the Sunday Times (major WA newspaper) and have had 4 motoring section covers and 4 other published photos inside the paper!

Currently I shoot for the Lotus Club of WA & the Ferrari Club of WA, as well as Barbagallos. Barbagallos is the local Aston/Alfa/Aston/Range Rover/Ferrari/Jaguar/ Lamborghini/Lotus/Maserati/Rolls Royce/Sunseeker dealership in Western Australia and every quarter we have a track day, inviting all clients to attend to race each other

Over the past year I have been in absolute awe over the cars that the States has access to and that is the reason why come June 2009, I'll be calling California my home!! I will be in America for around 6 months and will be traveling, relaxing and most importantly, expanding my company and taking LOTS & LOTS of pictures

The red car is a HSV VE Maloo R8 Ute. LS3 with 425hp to the rear wheels
