Thanks everyone. The air show pictures were with a D70, others with a D90.

Jim, what lens did you get for the D90?

Had a 70-200 f2.8 lens for a little while but ended up getting a 80-400 for the extra reach. But miss a lens like that and want to get another. But here are two examples of how nice the bokeh can be with a low f-stop.
