D300s vs Canon 7D... need opinions.
Hey guys, I am currently scoping out the market for a new camera to replace my D90. I love my D90, but one of the key reasons I want to make a change is for Video quality. It's not the best on the D90 and I've seen some videos of the Canon 7D (not the D300s yet) and it looked perfect for my needs. I will still be using it 70-80% of the time for photography, but want something that will do both very well. My price range is anywhere from $900-$1500 max.
Anyone with experience on these cameras?
Really appreciate the feedback in advance!
EDIT: Also considering the D7000....Last edited by Blue4reF1; 08-08-2012 at 03:48 AM.

How much glass do you already have for the D90? If you have invested a good amount of money I would say look at the D7000. The D300 is nice, but with only shooting 720HD a lot of people feel like it is a let down in the end. The D7000 shoots full 1080HD and was designed as a true Canon video competitor. Also it is perfect for your price range.

Think I'll go with the D7000. Thank you
