Thread: looking for a new compact / smaller camera . . . . suggestions?

Wifey looking at the Nikon 1, but seems like most of the reviews for the camera are not that great. Any suggestions for a similar size camera with more features and better overall? I will also need an underwater housing for the camera for diving in the caribbean in a couple months. Thanks for the input.

Thanks for the reply, looks like a great camera. Only issue is that its limited to 40'. I dont mind if i need to buy an underwater housing for the new camera. But needs to at least be capable of 100' dives.

Will have a few lenses you can buy for it... and you can also get a lens converter so that you can use any canon lens with it

But then again. It just depends on what you want.
