Thread: Seattle Help-Travel Info

My Wife is going to Seattle next week to visit an old college friend who works for Boeing.

Just wondering of places she should visit, stay away from ect ect.

She isn't staying directly in Seattle but will be about 20min away in Renton, how easy or hard is it to get to seattle if she doesn't rent a car? Any info about buses/trains, experience is greatly appreciated since she'll be venturing out alone while her friend is at work then they'll hang out after work ect.

yikes I used to work in Renton a bit and its kinda a rough area. Havent seen the whole area though so I dont really know. Wont be easy to get into Seattle without a rental and I would just say in general she should rent a car. As far as places she should visit theres Pike Place Market obviously but what else is she into?
