Thread: GRAND NE SECTION MEET

I don't recall what thread it was brought up in, but I thought it would be cool to get the NYC area members and the Boston area members to one meet. the city thrown up was Newport, RI.

i've personally been to Newport for my sisters wedding, and the area is really pleasant.

as of right now I was thinking sometime in the spring or summer. make a weekend out of it, do a couple drives on some nice roads in the area, grab some food and have some fun.

if there are any other places you can think of throw them up and lets see what we can get. lets try to revitalize the NE section.

I would be in for this as well, if you need help organizing I can help get the Central and northern NJ leg together across a few forums

yea sure put it up on some forums. i'll be doing that myself tomorrow sometime.

good, so it's 3 here so far, and a few others on other sites. so lets try to get something official, date's and a place. i've not heard any arguement against newport, so it seems like it'll work.

it's about 4hrs from nyc to there, so a one day meet will work. i was thinking May 20th. it's the week before memorial day, so not to bad on traffic getting to there or from there. and for the most part those that suffer from allergies will have had them clear up by then.

i've posted this on rx7club, 3si, supraforums. if someone can get Exotics rally and 6spdonline that would be great as well as any other forum that they feel would like to come

id be interested. i could do a support truck/trailer for those coming from NJ. im down here in little egg harbor nj south jerz, about 35 mins north of atlantic city.
