Thread: Cape Run 2011

Continuing with a Tradition that was started back in 2002, we present Cape Run 2011!!

Before putting your sports car up for the winter, Enjoy a leisurely drive to the Cape traversing some of the greatest roads the South Shore and the Cape have to offer!

Different from years Past, we will be using this opportunity to support the Greater Boston Food Bank! Please Bring 2 Canned goods as this is the entrance fee to this event!


When: Sunday November 13th
Time: 12:30PM (yay an event you can sleep in before)
Starting location: Driven Perfection, 1413 Main street, Weymouth MA
End time: We will be at the restaurant at 4:30, allowing ample time for dinner, and a 1:15 ride back to Boston.

This will be checkpoint based, bring your GPS!
Talk to others driving along side of you, it makes it more fun! Bring your two-way Radio. Don't have a Two way? Yuppie Racing reccomends Motorola Talk-Abouts (ebay $35, Best buy $50)
Eat Lunch before you come! This is a checkpoint based drive, therefore, there will be alot of time in the car before dinner. Don't do the ride on an empty stomach, you won't enjoy it as much!

Thanks Aimee, this event has always been kind of small. Once we make our way on to Cape Cod, it's really tough keeping a large group together... It's usually been limited to 60 cars.

I have some other events I'll be posting up which include Forza/gran turismo tourney, winter toy drive, detailing seminars and a tail of the dragon rally.
