Default anyone pay for car storage?

i am looking at a building and thinking of using it to sell long term storage space. i need to figure out what people are paying for car storage so i can see if it is cost effective to pursue this venture.

Drew I used a place in Rockaway for a few years, but only during "storage" season for my Porsche. It was from November to end of March. I paid $125/month. It included plugging in a trickle charger to keep the battery from going dead. The space was partially heated. They had enough space for about 10 cars. Only problem was, once you stored the car it wasn't coming out until April.

ok that get's me started in the right direction. i could charge a little more with more access then. i am looking at a building that can fit 8 cars. i plan on using some space for a lift and my own use so the other 6 spaces i could rent out.

Yeah there are always people looking for storage. Especially for the winter.

Kind of off topic but i always look for storage for my boat during the winter times. I dont know if there is a big market for boat storage where you live but it might be something to look into. the place i keep my boat makes A LOT of money.

yeah i was thinking of long term storage. and make it like a gym membership. you sign on for a year, pay by month and put it in and take it out every weekend if you want or let it sit on a trickle charger all year. i assume it will most likely be friday afternoon to sunday night or monday morning most of the time. and i would also do week days by appointment if you are deciding to go somewhere.
