Any one wanna go for an early morning drive to OBI (Captree) this Sunday?

Ok silly question I'm sure but what/where is captree?

4 miles passed Jones Beach on Ocean Parkway.

I've seen it mentioned a few times around here, I felt compelled to ask because I never understand what the hell you guys are talking about. You guys drive out there and hang around or just go out for the drives generally?

Damnit, wish I could, it's a great drive out there, but I got a family breakfast and tix for the Yankee game, I'm in for next time though.

we don't just drive out there. a certain group of us, when together, don't know what normal driving is.

we just go out and hang out for a lil while, we see whats out there, and then basically go home, some go to brunch tho.

I already made plans for the 10th and the 17th will be waterfest. but i am def down for this one day. is this a weekly thing? whens the next drive?

cops are everywhere on ocean parkway now, basically you just have to put a front plate on your car and cruise into the lot slowly. And then you have to figure out where to park since recently its been packed full of cars. After Memorial Day the Captree meet gets moved to Oak Beach Inn(2min from captree, on ocean parkway) since captree is technically a marina.

It goes on every sunday morning from 7-11am ish...as long as the weather is nice

Well my beater subaru is nothing special and is in the shop for brakes/rotors and suspension check, if it's ready by tomorrow I'd like to go and see what it's all about.

hmmm...I may end up going....depends how I'm feeling in the morning after partying
