From what I heard/saw the kid was in was the middle or left lane. He noticed that everyone else was getting off of an exit and at this point it was almost too late for him to follow everyone (idiot didn't look at the directions to see what exit to get off of) but he attempted to by whipping his car into the exit lane without looking. He smashed into a poor woman in a Lexus SUV. The force of the hit was so hard that his car bounced off of the lexus and did and complete 180.
