Thread: We are pleased to announce an "ALL NEW" GM EFI Race Series at Raceway Park for 2011

We are proud to announce the Team ECS GM EFI Drag Racing Series for 2011 with Title Sponsors: Pfadt Race Engineering and Mantic Clutch; Presented by American Racing Headers, Paxton Superchargers and Comp Cams / Fast; with Associate Sponsors SLP Performance, Pro Torque Converters and T R's Auto Body & Restoration.

The 2011 series will be held at Raceway Park in Old Bridge Twp., NJ (Englishtown) and includes (1) an 8.90 Index class and (2) a Bracket class; both of which are open to all GM EFI equipped vehicles such as Corvette, Camaro, Firebird, GTO, G8, Caddy, Trucks, and more.

The season will consist of eight races, held between April and October. Both classes are eligible for points with two Special Events: The top two points racers in each class will be invited to race at two Raceway Park summer events: (1) The 36th Annual Snap-On Tools NIGHT OF THRILLS, Presented by P.C.Richard & Son: Saturday, June 18 and (2)The 41st Annual P.C. RICHARD & SON SUMMER MOTORSPORTS SPECTACULAR: Wednesday, July 20.

Sounds like a blast, I would be down to watch as my car has no where near enough go to compete.... Maybe the bracket class but i dont have enough seat time to be consistent.

Would love to have ya as a spectator or a participant.

Run anytime... Even if you don't sign-up for points.

The brackets could be a good place to get some seat time. You get a few time shots before having to dial a number... And, at least one eliminator (hopefully more).

Always enjoy meeting new drivers at the track.

The weather for the 4/23 event is not looking too promising. But, we've posted the payouts, rules and more on the official website (including future dates) and invite anyone intrested to please come on out and have some fun!

I recall meeting many of you back during a track rental 1-2 years ago at Raceway Park... That was a good day - I think I ran a 9 something. This year, I'll be running a new build in my vette, in the GM EFI 8.90 index class (I added a little more HP under the hood ).

The GM EFI event will be held on the same days as the Corvette Challenge, which also offers brackets as well as index series (10.50 and 11.50).

The 2011 Pfadt Race Engineering and Mantic Clutch GM EFI Race Series 15, presented by American Racing Headers, Paxton Superchargers & Comp Cams/FAST Season Finale will be held on: Saturday: November 5, 2011 at Old Bridge Twp. Raceway Park (Englishtown, NJ)

The final event will be run as a double-header (to make up for cancelled events) with two races run on 11/5: One in the morning (AM) and the other in the afternoon (PM). Index racers will run two qualifiers in the AM and one in the PM. Bracket racers will get two time shots in the AM and none in the PM (i.e., they will go directly into eliminations).
