what would you rather have?
saw this posted on another site i frequent thought it'd be interesting to put here.
with the money you've spent for purchasing you vehicle and the money invested in mods(not stock replacement pieces) what could you have purchased? and would you still rather have your current car
including the transmission next month, i've spent around 18k on my white stealth. for that much i could've gotten a late 80's 911 turbo, or a 99-03 996 c2.
as much as i love the 911's, i'd still rather have my stealth, it works yr round, and for the most part it's a cheaper car. and has more power than either of the 911's mentioned.- Dave

I dont regret any car I have had.. cars are a hobby and a waste of money and no matter what you have, if you are a car guy then you will mod that too and will always want something better

When i bought my Buick Grand National.... Spent 5500... over 40k later I would say i could have bought something different.
HOWEVER, if i was to do that i would have been saving up for a few years since all of the money in mods was little by little. so i would rather what i had and built it up than having nothing until i can afford something else.
I have since sold it, lost a lot of money on it... Upgraded to what i have now and its staying stock. (minus the lowering kit and exhaust that is done)
so I never regretted owning any of my cars that i Modded or my current with the money i spent.

happy w/ my choice, if I had to do it all over again I would have kept my car bonestock & bought another cheep car for trackdays, my issue is not spending the money for a trackcar right now its about finding the time to get to the track & were to keep it & work on it(need to invest in more tools & learning more how to wrench on my own)
I do regret buying my DD Honda Element, I haven't put a cent into it & have beaten the crap out of it & it keeps on running(even after I had a front end collision) but if I had to do it again I would have bought a pickup truck to do the same job the element does now but also haul my bikes to and from trackdays, then my mom would stop complaining to go get my bike trailer out of her driveway/yard lol08 E92 M3 IB/FR (DD & trackduty)

No question that I have picked one of the best platforms out there hands down so my 7 isn't going anywhere soon
