Seth can you elaborate a bit about the track portion part of this event....what I'm getting from your post is that its @ Pocono on June 26th & 27th but which layout?? & cost is $350 for both days plus the $65 reg. fee & $35 for anyone else coming to hang out
Also any info on how many groups will be run @ the trackday & any other info that is relevant to the trackday is greatly appreciated or please direct me towards were I can obtain more info
Please correct me if I'm wrong or missing something....I'm interested in the track portion but can not attend the "show"
EDIT:Ok just answered some of my own questions by searching Stockcar Racing Experience http://www.877stockcar.com/
track event is held in their stock cars around the oval & isn't a "trackday" in which you go out in your own car on the road courses
Again please correct me if I'm wrongLast edited by Monsta; 04-05-2011 at 04:02 PM.

missed this post, to answer your questions:
Concours is June 25th at Mt. Airy Lodge
Track Day is June 26th that I am offering, yes its $350 for the 1 day + $65 insurance liability fee in case you slip and fall on the grounds - has nothing to do with car insurance, and yes it's $35 for an additional guest for that day to be a spectator.
You drive YOUR car, on the Pocono 2.5 Mile Road Course, its the 2/3 of the oval with the infield. To give you an idea of speeds, I hit 175-180 on the front straight and turns 1 & 2 in my Lamborghini, which at a 14 degree banking is simply insane! I could only imaging daytona which is about 40 degrees.
Here is the exact description of the course:
2.5 MILE ROAD COURSE
This international road racing circuit has accommodated the most exotic sports cars in the world, including IMSA GTP cars. The course features eight turns; two S’s and straightaway up to 3,055 feet long. The track width varies from 30-100′.

Here's a link for anyone that wants to know what the track configuration will look like for the June 26...http://www.italiancarevents.com/uplo...ack_Layout.pdf
looks like more of a high speed config...will my Cayman S still be good on this Seth? Lightning was good this past weekend b/c of combo of technical and speed portions.
