Thread: Why no Philly/South Jersey/DE Midnight Run

I was just reading about some of the runs up in NY. They look like a good time.

Wondering if that is something that happens in the Philly area?

If not, is there an interest?

Hello! I arrange a few meets in Philly. There is a Late night Kelly Drive - Philly Cheesesteak run in mid April. I will post it here.

come up to the NYC one, I know a bunch of guys from the DE/MD area on 6speed are coming up

I've attended a couple of midnight runs to Tony Lukes in the past. Oddly enough they were organized by a bunch of people driving down from New York to get a cheese steak fix.

when i did the nyc midnight runs with greg in 2009 there were people that drove up from VA. i think what it comes down to is, what's there to do in Philly? NYC is afterall the city that never sleeps. philly has cheesesteaks.

i will say that if you got something going, i'd probably come down, i lived in west chester for a couple years

I would be all over that! Think about a midnight run from Best Buy on Delaware Ave to Atlantic City to Borgata. or something like that... I just dont know how much support and cars could be pulled together. I am planning on going to the next NJ/NY Midnight run... I got family out on Long Island so we are up there at least once a month as it is.

All kinds of good ideas being tossed around.

I would not mind heading up to the NYC one but to do that montly or so turns into more than I was looking for.

Evan RS4 is on to something...Philly might not be open all night but Atlantic City is.

We could have something that starts in an area surrounding the Philly then goes through south jersey and ends up in A/C...or something like that...

If we continue to get more interest, I think we should give it a shot to see how it goes.

I put a drive together last Saturday. About 7 cars showed up and we headed to Atlantic City for Tiesto. Def was a fun drive down.
