Derek & I had a discussion last night with the director from the Diabetes Research Institute. Preliminary literature will be released shortly by the DRI regarding this years event on Sunday, September 25, 2011. On this day we raised over $18,500.00 for the DRI & had 600 + vehicles from around the country. Sponsors, many from L4P were present as well as members showing their vehicles. If you missed last years event, be sure to mark your calendars for this year... a day of excitement for the WHOLE family... not to be missed.

I am very pleased to announce that the final date for the 3rd annual Gold Coast Concours/ Bimmerstock 2011 show has been selected!
After discussions with our good friend Mr. Sandy Kane (host of the "Cruizin' for a Cure" show), so as to avoid an unfortunate date conflict with these two fantastic charity events, we have selected Sunday, September 25th 2011 as the official date of this year's show.
We are extremely happy to give Mr. Kane our full support of his show, and in turn he has promised his full support of ours, as we would never want to take away anything from another 100% charitable show- especially with two such important causes as the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the Diabetes Research Institute.
Planning for our event is already at full speed and if you thought last year’s event was something… wait until you see what’s in store for this year!
Details to follow.
